【Event Review】Environment and Conservation Fund| Food Commons@Shatin ——Connoisseurs save food : Autumn Seminar

Our autumn seminar at the Sha Tin Lek Yuen Community Hall on September 20th ended successfully in a warm and pleasant atmosphere!

It is an honour to learn the wisdom of "save food" with so many neighbours. The weather was unstable, but still many people attended! Thank you very much for your attendance and support. Your eyes and enthusiastic questions gave us a lot of motivation!

Thank you to nutritionist Sharon Chan for her amazing contribution!  Sharon teaches us how to eat healthily and environmentally friendly by beginning with ingredient selection and storage, avoiding kitchen waste, and incorporating "save food" into your daily life.  Many participants commented that the creative recipes they discovered were quite useful, and they had to try them when they returned!  Of course, everyone is smiling as they clutch the "food lucky bag".

Those who missed the presentation should not be disappointed!  We will continue to hold seasonal themed seminars; please keep an eye on our Facebook page!

Thank you again to the Environment and Conservation Fund and the Shatin Women's Association for their support, as well as everyone who came!  Let us begin with the community and practise food and drink to build a better, more sustainable future.
